Jewelry Cabinet
This was a gift for my lovely wife, who had found the plan on the Kreg website. We went to our local big box store to purchase some maple, and she got to experience first hand how much decent wood costs. (she insisted on paying!)
The plans were detailed and easy to follow, however, I modified them slightly for the velvet on the back of the door, and the earring door. For some reason, I thought I could just cut around the velvet after applying the contact adhesive. That didn’t work as you can see below, but, as Paul Sellers said: “90% of woodworking is knowing how to fix your mistakes.”
