Wedding Arbor
This was actually one of the first few builds in my woodworking journey, and it’s still standing to this day! I can still remember struggling to make some of these cuts, especially the mortises. Now, there’s plenty of tools in the shop to accomplish those cuts; plus, I like to think I’ve gained a little experience along the way.
I did run out of time building this, so, it was painted the day of the wedding and the bottom horizontal braces are screwed into the sides vs. mortise/tenon.
This was truly an honor to see something I had built used in a moment that special for two great friends.
