Beginnings
Every workshop starts somewhere! My garage measures roughly 11.5’ wide by 23’ deep, and was somewhat insulated, but, needed to be renovated and given a fresh start. The workshop is now completely insulated with wall to wall 3/4” plywood to hang practically anything on.
Early on, I stupidly hung drywall on one side of the wall, to replace it years later with plywood. That then became the new “french cleat” wall, which will slowly be filled up with a variety of different holders for various tools.
original sheetrock removed, new insulation added
5/8 Firecode drywall hung...no, I do not know why we hung it vertically
there have been vehicles in the garage
another view of that sweet Ford Fiesta
before there was a shed, I made these silly 2x4 french cleats for tools
