Drill Cabinet
After getting plywood up on this wall, I wanted a cabinet to hold my drills/chargers and other random things. For the mustache door pulls, I think I used a jigsaw to carve out the first two, then, a router for the last one. The router was wayyy cleaner of a cut, but, this is just shop furniture, so who cares!
original design in sketchup
printed model with measurements for cuts
after breaking down the sheet of ply, here it is assembled. My apologies for no progress pics to this point!
I had to remove a portion of the back for the french cleat
two side doors cut
playing with some lights
printed mustache template for the door pulls
these are the cabinet hinges I used for the doors
adding the led light strip to the bottom and under shelves
mounted! I've since added a middle door
I originally had these gas struts on for easy opening, they were just too strong and ripped the screws right out of the ply
here's a view of the right side charging station, there's plastic battery holders mounted on the bottom
