The Cleats
Early on in my woodworking journey, I saw someone rip a 2x4 at a 45 degree angle, mount it to the wall and hang stuff. Genius. I went with it, and it was cool, but then others started using plywood…plywood, is that strong enough? Yes, yes it is.
Seriously though, French cleats are so versatile and add that extra customization for practically anything. Below is a mix of I plan to have my miter station with some support rails and a dust hood, along with a mix of holders for different things in the shop.
